Environmental Awareness March – Fridays for Future

Please join  AUA Language Center,  AUA Access microscholarship students and their classmates from Metta Suksa school for the Global Climate Strike on 20 September 2019.

This will be a peaceful march to raise local awareness and call for change to save our future. We will be walking from Thapae Gate to the Three Kings Monument on 20 September for the Global Climate Strike joining Greta Thunberg and so many others around the world. Should anyone decide to continue walking, please feel welcome to, however, the police escort that will stop traffic will end at the Three Kings Monument, however, the police have agreed to keep two escorts (one in the front and one at the back) so those who can continue are able to do so. We’d continue long to the north side of the moat and then back to Thapae Gate.

Start walking from Thapae Gate at 8am so please be there before.

Please bring any signs you wish to carry with messages you wish to share. Wearing greens, blues and whites would have a visual impact but not necessary.

Invite whomever you’d like. Make your voice heard.

This event has be cleared with the Chiang Mai police and municipality.
