Dharma Talk with Noah Levine
December 13
Noah Levine is an American Buddhist teacher and author of Against the Stream, Refuge Recovery, and Dharma Punx. He is a counselor known for his philosophical alignment with Buddhism and punk ideology.
The Dharma topic will be “Against the Stream – The Buddhist teachings anti-establishment rebellion” including “Meditation as a practice of destroying greed, hatred, and delusion”
The talk is open to the public, and as per Buddhist tradition, a dana box will be available for donations.
In the Buddhist tradition, the teachings are given freely because they are considered priceless; in the Buddhist tradition we also practice dana, or generosity, by making monetary offerings for the teachings. Dana is not payment for goods or services rendered; it is given from the heart.
