3 days building Mahabandha with Madoka

August 23 - August 25

Madoka Kawaguchi

Authorized teacher
Primary series
Intermediate Series
from Ashtanga Saadhana Mysore, India
also RYT certificate Teacher.

Born in Japan Hokkaido 1981.
She learned Japanese traditional dance since 6years old to 12years old. She feels the sensation I got in the stages in this time was quite similar when go deep meditation. Also this helps her a lot for Asana, because dance training was always in front of milers so now she can see her postures without that.

Madoka started to practice yoga in 2005 as just a exercise for surfing. This was changed in 2008, when she went to Sivananda yoga ashram in Kelala India. She came to know Asana is not just a exercise. Her Asana turned to yoga.

After she did Teacher Training Course at the ashram she came back to Japan then came to know Five Elements yoga®︎ which is descended from Anusara yoga. This style of Asana stretching body with keep activate muscles like Yan yoga. She likes it very much. She took TTC and started to teach and also started to mix martial arts at the same time. Afterward she was really into mix martial arts but she got serious injury at her neck.
Then she decided to leave all the job and Japan. She realized mix martial arts became my attachment. Leave it ones, and restart again.

2017 Modoka started her travel India and interested more in Ashtanga vinyasa yoga for her own practice then started praticing with Vijay Kumar.

2018 Madoka took TTC with Vijay and was his assistant his class and also start to teach from then.
