U.S. Veterans Day at Foreign Cemetery

Chiang Mai’s Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 12074, led by Commander Allan Gariano, held a U.S. Veterans Day ceremony at the Chiang Mai Foreign Cemetery on the morning of November 11.  Chaplain James Welch led a prayer and U.S. Vice Consul Ryan Reynolds gave remarks on the significance of Veterans Day for U.S. citizens.  They were joined by other members of the VFW, U.S. Consul General Michael Heath, and members of the public in paying respects to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces.
