TEDxChiangMai 2019 “Shake and Shift” Press Conference

A press conference was held at the Northern Science Park to announce the upcoming TEDxChiangMai 2019 “Shake and Shift” on 7 September 2019. (Martin Venzky-Stalling told Citylife that the ‘Shake and Shift title came from: this event is to shift people’s ideas and if they do not shift we shake them!!!!’). September 7 (Saturday). TEDxChiangMai 2019 “Shake and Shift” will be held at the Northern Science Park (NSP), on Canal Road, Chiang Mai University. “TEDxChiangMai 2019 will feature 20+ inspiring speakers and performers (from Chiang Mai and rest of Thailand, Ireland, Japan, Hong Kong, US, and the UK), workshops, and activities focusing on ideas that shake and shift our perspective. We have focused on gender balance, but the topics and speakers are for all ages, men and women. The event will continue to be bilingual with a greater amount of tickets reserved for Thais and foreign residents living in Chiang Mai or Thailand. This all-day event is an immersion and treat for yourself and include a post-event party with further activities and performances. The event is not-for-profit and organized by volunteers with support of the Chiang Mai University Science Park and other partner organization. It is Thailand’s most diverse TEDx event.
