Press Conference Chiang Mai Flower Festival 2018

The Deputy Governor, Puttipong Sirimart held a press conference at Suan Bauk Haad to announce the 42 Chiang Mai Flower Festival will be from 2 – 4 February 2018. The flower festival will center round Suan Bauk Haad, the park on the south-west corner inside the moat. There will be live bands and performances every evening in the park. There will be a parade of flowered floats on Saturday 3 February, starting at Nawarat Bridge at 8am, then up Thapae Road to Thapae Gate, then clockwise on the outside of the moat to Suan Bauk Haad. The parade is expected to arrive at the park about 11am. The floats will then be on display until the evening of 4 February 2018. During the afternoon of 3 February there will be the official opening of the flower festival followed by cultural performances.
