Pilots Dinner upon their arrival in Chiang Mai at Woodfield Resort. Chiang Mai Balloon Festival at Payap University Friday March 4 and Saturday March 5. Sornchat Krainara (Aom) organiser from All About Arts told CityNow – there will a FREE shuttle service from Nimmanhaemindha Soi 1 / Duangtawan Hotel / Amora Rydges Thapae. Two shuttle buses will operate from 5am until 10am and 2pm until 11pm daily.

Tickets available at Rimping Supermakets; Maya Lifestyle Mall / Promenada Resort Mall / Nim City Daily / Mee Choke and Nawarat Bridge.Tickets cost 200THB per person, children 7 – 12 years 50THB, children under 7 FREE.  Tickets can also be bought from the shuttle bus driver.
Highlights include both mornings at 6am Balloon flights across the Chiang Mai skyline and the Balloon Night Glow at 9pm each evening; the balloons lit up in unison with a full orchestra. During the day various workshops, and in the evening plenty of music and entertainment. Many top hotels and restaurants will be represented offering an array of food and drinks
