Opening of “Hidden View” a solo exhibition by Supachet Bhumakarn (View) at Little Shelter Hotel Chiang Mai. The exhibition is curated by Chaiwat Lochotinant, and is on display until 31 May 2024.
All works in the exhibition present a calm, orderly, and meditated emotional state through lines, light, color, and shapes in abstract form. The works that take viewers on a journey through time and immerse
into the serenest moments of the artist himself. Deep drive into the mind of an artist who is silent and disregard to the crisis of the sadness and the suffering that surrounds him. Suphachet Bhumkan is a contemporary artist who works through painting and sculpture in a specific way where reality works with imagination (close to the Magical Realism approach). The elephant is the main character and its natural surroundings play the role as the core of the story.
