Opening of Chiang Mai Golf Festival 2024

The press conference for the “Chiang Mai Golf Festival 2024 Project” was held on May 4, 2024 at the course. Gassan Legacy Golf Club, with the person honored to attend the press conference including Mrs. Patsalin Swetarat, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Chiang Mai Office, Mr. Arnan Puakpiboon, Sports Promotion Manager of Singha Corporation Co., Ltd., Mr. Taeyoung Kim, Chairman of the Board of Dasom Sportainment Co., Ltd., Ms. Hsu Chiao-Hsin, executives from the Flying EVA Airways, Mr. Ekapoj Singhkorn, President of the Thai Senior Professional Golf Association, Northern Region, Mr. Chalermpol Choocharti, President of the Northern Golf Resorts Association, Mr. Supodcha Swetiyaram, Vice President of the Northern Golf Resorts Association and Mr. Waraporn Arkatwipat, Secretary-General of the Northern Golf Resorts Association. Mr. Chalermpol Choocharti, President of the Northern Golf Resorts Association, said that this year’s Chiang Mai Golf Festival 2024 project is being held continuously. This year is the 15th year with the objective of stimulating golf tourism in the northern region. Emphasis is placed on stimulating the economy and tourism simultaneously during the green season of the northern region. The goal is to encourage golfers to come and use the services at the 7 competition courses both on and off competition days. Total not less than 30,000 people and expected to generate income for the province of not less than 30 million baht throughout the 4-month project period. This year’s special feature is the Northern Golf Resort Association. Welcoming new golf course members from neighboring countries, including Phoukewlom Mountains Golf And Resort, which is a leading golf course in Bo Keo Province, Laos. This year, we will be a part of helping to push and publicize the Chiang Mai Golf Festival 2024 project in foreign markets, both in Laos and nearby countries.
