Official Opening MAIIAM Museum of Contemporary Art

Official Opening MAIIAM Museum of Contemporary Art Chiang Mai on Sankampheang Road.

The MAIIAM Museum is founded by Jean Michel Beurdeley, his late wife Patsri Bunnag and their son Eric Bunnag Booth. The name MAIIAM is a tribute to Eric Bunnag Booth’s great grand aunt Jao Jom Iam, a royal consort to HM King Rama V.

The museum houses the family’s permanent collection as well as leading Thai artists. The first show is The Serenity of Madness by Apichatpong Weerasethsakul. The multi -media exhibition will include a special screenings, activities and talks throughout the course of the exhibition.
