Mae Kha Canal Press Conference

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment General Surasak Karnjanarat, and the Governor of Chiang Mai Pawin Chamniprasart  attended a press conference about the ‘clean up of the Mae Kha Canal at the Grandview Convention Centre. The Mae Kha Canal runs from Mae Rim to Hang Dong – between Chiang Mai moat and the Mae Ping river. Actions include educating  companies and local people who live and work alongside the canal about waste disposal alternatives, dredging and cleaning the canal, wastewater treatment, and tracking maintenance improvement.
