Chiang Mai, Jan 18, 2024 — STARLUX Airlines marked a significant milestone with the official launch of its inaugural flight, JX752, connecting Chiang Mai and Taipei. Following a smooth departure from Chiang Mai International Airport, the flight is anticipated to arrive at Taipei International Airport at 22:10. This marks STARLUX expansion to a second city in Thailand, providing a new and convenient transit option to North America and a new gateway to the heart of Asia — Taiwan. STARLUX has been adding routes to popular tourist attractions worldwide to cater to increasing travel demand. The airline initially established service to Bangkok during its grand launch and has now introduced a new route, establishing its presence in two destinations in Thailand.

Currently operating three flights a week from Chiang Mai, STARLUX is prepared to increase frequencies based on passenger demand and welcome travelers to the beauty of Formosa. Taiwan is an island of unexpected beauty, with verdant valleys, hills, and forests to roam in; it’s the ideal destination for those who love to spend their vacation exploring the great outdoors. The inaugural flight ceremony began with local people wearing Lanna clothes, and desserts provided by Bangkok Air Catering; BAC is also handing out delicacies at the start of the journey to Taipei. The CEO of STARLUX Airlines stated, “In 2020, we launched our first destination in Thailand — Bangkok, and 20 Asian destinations over the past three years. Last year, we successfully launched two transpacific routes to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
