Kalm Village in the Old City

Citylife was given an exclusive tour of the recently opened Kalm ‘Art Craft Culture’ Village. Kalm wants to create a place that brings people together through the love of art, craft and culture. They believe in the ability of art, craft and culture to educate, engage, inspire and empower. Kalm Village, 14 Soi 4, Phrapkklao Road in the old city,  is open to the public every day between 9am and 7pm (located on google maps).

Kalm first opening event a Workshop entitled ‘After the Harvest’ is on Saturday March 27. Kalm presents a hands-on workshop with Praarthid-Pottery, a local pottery studio based in Chiangmai. In this workshop, Nu and Krai of Praarthid-Pottery, will lead you through the process of pottery-making, focusing on hand building techniques. You will design and make your own objects and they will fire the results and send them home to you next month. This workshop is free of charge and open to public!
