Citylife visits Krisp Café

The Citylife team was invited to visit recently-opened KRISP café, patisserie and art-gallery tonight. Krisp is a collaboration of a group of friends and restaurateurs from Mix Restaurant, Red Box Restaurant, Saruda Finest Pastry, All About Coffee and Ploy Chidjun Hung, together pooling decades of culinary experience. Krisp is open from 8am until 10pm and is located on Sirintron Road T. Changpuak (just off the Changpuak road before the Superhighway). For reservations call 063-525-4245.

Premium French croissants (by Sarudq’s Chef View) include plain croissant at 85 baht, exotic croissants (mango, passion fruit and lime) at 129 baht, ham cheese & béchamel croissant for 159 baht Yuzu & honey meringue croissant at 145 baht, pain au chocolat for 95 baht, milky way croissants for 135 Anant, almond croissants for 135 baht, Bostoc for 95 Baht and the piece de resistance, Wagyu truffle croissants for only 190 baht.

Dinner is available from 5pm until 10pm. Examples from the menu include: Tomato seafood chowder (scallops, blue mussels, cod and prawns) 285 baht, prawn bisque at 180 baht, an Australian Wagyu beef stew at 290 baht, a hearty vegetable Stew for 150 baht, the seafood risotto for 270 baht, pan seared US scallops with roasted bell pepper sauce and pea puree 355 baht. Grilled seabass with Romesco sauce & mix grilled vegetables 285 baht. Crab linguini aglio olio 270 baht. Beef ragu pappardella pasta at 250 baht and much much more. Delicious.
