Chinese New Year Press Conference

The Mayor of Chiang Mai, Tassanai Buranupakorn, held a press conference to announce details of the Chinese New Year. Festivities will take place on 5 February 2019 in Chiang Mai China Town / Warorot Market. A parade will start at the Kuan U Shrine on Soi Kuang Men, and continue to the 7-Eleven  Junction at Warorot Market. Between 9.30 and 11am there will be Dragon Shows, and Chinese cultural dancing along with speeches from various dignitaries. In the evening there will be plenty of activities from 7pm until 11pm. Throughout the 5 and 6 February street vendors will be selling various products related to China.
