Opening ceremony of the Chiang Mai King Sejong Institute at the Faculty of Humanities Chiang Mai University. The ceremony was attended by Assoc Prof Rome Jiranukrom Vice President of Chiang Mai University, Dr. Sumalee Sawatdirakpong, Dean of Humanities, Chiang Mai University, and Professor Song Hyangkeun ph.D.President King Sejong Institute Foundation. Hannah Choi of The Korean Division CMU is the new Director of the Institute This Institute is for the study of Korean language and culture, also K-POP and K-POP DANCE for CMU students, local residents of Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand. Named after the creator of Korean Calligraphy and Language, King Sejong of the Joseon Dynasty in the 15th Century.
