Buddhist Blessing of Khum Kaew Palace, next to Vista Hotel Phra Pokklao Road (near Chang Puak Gate). Guest of honour was Chao Doungduan Na Chiang Mai Khum Kaew Palace was built in 1897 by His Highness Kaew Nawarat before his coronation as the ninth King of Chiang Mai. The Palace is home of Dhamma in the City Center; home for inner peace through mindfulness practice by the observation of one’s breath. The Palace also houses many Lanna Royal Family memorabilia, and there is an extensive gift shop selling OTOP Products and other produce made in Chiang Mai
