CityNews – On 27th June, Chiang Mai Municipality Office and Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-Operatives with the officers went to a public park located opposite to Chiang Mai Railway Station to plant Butea Monosperma Trees.
This activity aimed to create ‘officers’ awareness about the tree planting’ and ‘environment conservation’ as well as to honour His Majesty the King and to show loyalty to Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn.
The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-Operatives said in 2013 it will plant a million trees.
