CityNews – Just one week after the local courts cancelled the one-way system at Nimmanhaemin, a local Facebook group run by Thai Traffic Police Radio FM 105, joined the current trend asking opinions of citizens via a poll on their page, by asking their members to share their opinions on the one-way system.

oneway poll

The poll asks whether members of the group agree or disagree with the one-way system in the Nimmanhaemin soi network.

The full list of options are; ‘agree with the system’, ‘disagree with the system’, ‘I can see benefits from both systems’, ‘unsure’, and ‘not interested’.

To vote, Facebook users must join this public group. You can see the poll and join the group here.

Currently, the vote stands at over 20 votes for ‘agree with the system’ against 2 votes for ‘disagree with the system’ and 2 votes for ‘I can see benefits from both systems’.

However, many of the comments on the poll from voters who agree with the one-way system almost unanimously suggest alternating the one-way direction on each soi in favour of the latest system.
