Wooden House Burns to the Ground in Mae Jo

CityNews – A wooden house caught on fire in Mae Jo at around 8.30pm on March 9.

Fire services were called to the scene when locals reported the fire yesterday evening. Due to the dry weather and wooden structures, the struggled to control the blaze, spending over one hour to take control.

Nobody was injured and no bodies were found in the house, which was completely destroyed.

Damages are estimated to be around 600,000 baht.

The owner of the house, Prajak Navee, had left the house just before the fire began. Police believe the fire started from a short circuit of electrical equipment which was discovered in the remains.

The investigation for the official cause of the fire continues.
