CityNews – Police responded to a collision on the Chotana Road in Mae Rim after three vehicles collided including a van transporting students.
According to reports, a pickup truck knocked down a motorcycle driver and quickly parked on the side of the road.
Then a minivan carrying primary school children aged around 5 collided with the back of the parked pickup.
The front of the van was totaled and five people in the van were injured including two teachers and three students.
The motorcyclist and pickup driver were uninjured.
One 5-year-old child was rushed to hospital with a broken leg and another with a broken arm. The driver, who was also a teacher also broke her legs.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the collision.
