On the afternoon of 28th June a body was found floating in the moat near Chang Peuak Gate.
Villagers alerted authorities when someone spotted the body floating face down in the water. It is estimated that he was between 45-50 years old. He was topless and wore a pair of black shorts and black trainers. So far there have been no signs detected of foul play or injury of any kind.
It is believed that whatever happened must have occurred at night, as this is an area with heavy traffic and any incident leading to death would have been spotted by day.
