What appears to be an underground station has popped up opposite Maya on Huay Kaew Road, in front of Think Park.
The ‘station’ copies Tokyo Metro entrances in Japan and its sign, in English, Thai and Japanese no less, announces ‘eastin sta’ and Eastin Metro.
Many people have descended the stairs, thinking perhaps it leads under the road into Maya, but it simply leads pedestrians back up to the same pavement a few metres further.
