CityNews – Three Burmese people were arrested on July 7 by Forestry Officers in the Mae Taeng area after they were found to be trespassing over two rai of protected land.
The two Burmese women and Burmese man were found on the land on April 24, but officers were unable to make arrests at the time.
The three were finally arrested and, after questioning, told officers that they were hired by a business man to prepare it for cultivation.
They now await prosecution and officers are trying to identify the businessman involved.
