CityNews – The Tourism Authority of Thailand launched The Village Explorer Project, a model tourist destination for schools and families in 7 communities.
The project aims to boost the economic in local community and creating value-added for local tourism. The activity will be under the concept school and family outing which is similar to camping and going to the fields trip.
“The Village Explorer Project opens the door for kids to explore and learn about the community in depth. They are able to experience the local way of life like paddy farming, fishing, collecting eggs, cooking and such. For kids, this is going to be the memorable experience and for community it is generating the economic.” said the Governor of TAT.
