Successful Yaba Entrapment in Chiang Mai

CityNews – At 2:30 p.m. on 24th February, Border Patrol Police Unit 334 led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Tithipong Jenkitjerernchai Unit 334 commander with his officers set up an entrapment and instructed the dealer to have yaba delivered near Wat Tham Tab Toa, in the Chai Prakan district of Chiang Mai.

The police informant met with Kheuuta (Lai) Singkahbanjong (46) of Chai Prakan, Chiang Mai. After the arrest, they found 6 packages of yaba containing 12,000 pills in Lai’s possession. He confessed that he smuggled the drug from Chiang Mai-Burma border and had been dealing in the area for a long time. Lai is now awaiting trial.
