Citynews – On 10th May hordes of shoppers headed to Warorot Market and Ton Lamyai Market looking for student uniforms for the coming school term.
The reason for so many people turning up en masse was because, according to one shopper, that the uniforms were presently being sold at cheap prices. A shop owner explained that they couldn’t raise the price as business was bad at the moment.
The average purchasing cost of one uniform, including shirt, shorts, skirt (female), socks, shoes and a bag is between 1,000 – 1,5000 baht for one student.
