CityNews – Santa pays an early Christmas visit to Chiang Dao to give presents to children for the 20th year running.
On December 23, an elderly Santa Clause came to give presents to children in front of a market in Chiang Dao. He had to wear sunglasses to protect his eyes from the sun as he is usually used to the colder, darker winters of the North Pole.
This is the 20th year that Santa has visited Chiang Dao to give presents to local children.
Santa told CityNews that he is always pleased when he sees happy children, who he describes as the country’s future. He then left on a motorcycle, telling reporters that his reindeer were resting before their biggest working day, Christmas Eve.
