Roads Repaired in Preperation for Bike For Dad

CityNews – December 3rd, Chiang Mai Mayor Tassanai Buranupakorn and other officials involved carried out checks of road repairs in the city in preparation for the “Bike for Dad” event, which will take place on December 11.

Roads with potholes and other damages have been repaired for residents’ safety and to increase safety for bike riders.

In Chiang Mai, the route for the Dad for Mom event is around 29 kilometres long in total. The starting point is at Chiang Mai City Hall, and the route follows Chotana road, into the city, around the moat, towards suthep, through the university before heading back to end at the City Hall.

Chiang Mai residents, who both have and haven’t yet registered for the event, are encouraged to join the event “Bike for Dad” to honour H.M. the King on his 88th birthday.

People have been invited to wear yellow shirts, the King’s royal colour, and assemble at Chiang Mai city Hall at 3pm on December 11.
