CityNews – A thief in Chang Phuak tried, and failed, to break open an ATM and steal its contents.
On June 28th, police received a report that an ATM near Rajabhat University had been damaged by someone trying to steal the money inside.
The ATM machine had damage marks that looked like they were caused by a portable welder, and wiring was loose around the back.
Police are now looking for two suspects using CCTV and other local eyewitness reports. Luckily, no money was stolen as the robbery attempt was a failure.
