CityNews – 623 police officers and 17 sniffer dogs yesterday checked warehouses at several transport service centres including Chiang Mai International Airport cargo offices.

Police General Somyos Phumpanmuang said in a statement to the press that police checked parcels delivered from northern Thailand to Bangkok for drugs. As well as the objects being sent, police also focused on checking how clearly senders and receivers names were written.

Other transport service centres police checked included Nim See Seng Transport, Post Offices and Chiang Mai Arcade Bus Station to check drugs to look for drugs. Urine samples of officers were also checked in these locations.

Late last year, many drugs dealers confess that they used this method to transport drugs several times, with up to a million pills each delivery. Recently, they have been transporting drugs with Nim See Seng by putting drugs inside of televisions. I believe that the transport entrepreneurs are the conspirers, but I need their corporation,? Police General Somyos said.
