The Chang Phuak police were alerted today to a break-in at one of their own police boxes.

According to the police, when the morning duty traffic policeman went to the police box in question, he saw that a sliding window had been removed.

Upon entering the box, police noted that packets of instant coffee, the first aid box and the wireless router which is needed to allow the automatic traffic system to function had been stolen.

Police say that they have not been inconvenienced further than having to direct traffic manually for a day, and that there is ample CCTV footage to ensure a speedy arrest.
