Passengers line up to purchase train tickets

 Following the third phase of the loosening of the restrictions enforced to stem the spread of the coronavirus, Thais are – tentatively – beginning to travel again.

The State Railway of Thailand (Chiang Mai0 announced that people have been lining up to purchase tickets again.

State railway staff are using all safety measures in all interactions with the public.

The carriage cars have social distancing guidelines clearly marked. All passengers entering Chiang Mai will have to give their contact details to authorities.
