Om Koi Village Cut Off After Road Is Destroyed by Son Thin Tropical Storm

CityNews – A village in Om Koi has been inaccessible after the roads leading in and out became saturated following the Son Thin tropical storm.

Several rural areas have been affected by the tropical storm that has brought continuous heavy rain to many area of Northern Thailand.

Plantations, facilities and roads have been destroyed in the storm, with one village known as Ban Na Kian in Om Koi, left stranded after their only road in and out became thick with mud and water.

Locals have reached out to authorities to help clear the road and give them access as they are beginning to run out of supplies and some sick and elderly villagers are currently unable to get to a hospital.
