Night Safari being careful about Covid-19

CityNews – 25th February 2020, the Pingnakorn Development Company which runs the Chiang Mai Night Safari have added extra preventative measures against the coronavirus (Covid-19) to help minimise any possible spread of the disease.

Anucha Damrongmanee, the managing director of Pingnakorn said that while there has been a steep drop in the numbers of Chinese tourist, the management is aware of having to ensure public safety for the remaining international and Thai visitors. Nakonping Hospital has offered assistance in checking the state of all visitors, staff have all been screened, alcohol and strong cleaning products are being used to clean all surfaces such as seats and guardrails which may be touched by potential carriers and areas such as the popular Tiger Show and Night Predators are being constantly cleaned.

No visitors are allowed to touch, ride or play with any animals during this time and there are public announcements to spread awareness of precautions to take.

The management wishes to ensure all visitors that all measures are being taken to ensure everyone’s safety.
