CityNews – On 6th Feb, Wichian Phuttiwinyu, the Chiang Mai Governor, launched the ‘kick off’ project, an initiative to prevent and control burning during the hot season.
It was announced that this decade long pollution problem needs to be net with new policies. The press were also told that the officials in Shan State are now also working with Thai officials to help reduce burning.
