New ‘E-Driving’ Test System Launching April 1st

CityNews – A new computerised driving test is about to be implemented using a computer system to monitor all movements and all three driving tests: 1. Driving forward and backwards between lines; 2. driving forward and parking at a certain spot and 3. Parallel parking. This system is being implemented in Chiang Mai as the first place in Thailand.

All Thais and foreigners apply for a driving test will be using his new computerised system. A CCTV will also monitor all movements. After each test, a sound will be made to allow applicants to know the results of the test. Anyone who fails the test will be eligible to be retested within three days.
