Due to lack of rain, several areas in Chiang Mai and the north are facing droughtwhich will affect not only consumption of water, but cultivation.

While several planes have been climbing the skies, due to bad conditions they have yet yielded any results.

The two special centres recently set up will increase the number of flights to 8 – 10 times per day.

Nuenghatai would also like to reassure the public who may be worried about the residual impacts of artificial rain that research shows that natural and artificial rains produce the same results and have no adverse effects to cause concern.
