CityNews – Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office Panadda Diskul visited Chiang Mai to asses the drought and pollution problems, commending the attempts by local authorities to combat the problems.
On March 5, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office Panadda visited Chiang Mai to follow up on several issues affecting the north, such as drought, pollution and artificial rain making.
He had a helicopter tour of the north’s major damns and after looking at water reports, he believes there will be enough water until June.
He also added that the dust and pollution problems are this year affecting Phrae and Lampang more than Chiang Mai so will focus on solving the problems there first.
