Earlier today Mae Rim police arrived at a Loy Krathong stage in Mae Rim to find a man dead under the stage.
According to police, the body of Nareucha Pengtain, 34, from Mae Rim, was found in a sitting position under a stage which had been set up by villagers in preparation of the upcoming Loy Krathong festival. His motorbike was on the ground nearby.
Police speculate that last night he may have crashed his motorbike into the stage and with no one around to help him managed to crawl to the stage where he succumbed to his injuries.
