At 10pm last night police and rescue workers rushed to the Don Chan intersection where a man was threatening to jump to his death.
The man appeared to have been hysterical and emotional, but after half an hour’s mediation, he had calmed down enough to allow himself to be assisted off the ledge.
A witness told CityNews that the man appeared to have been in his late thirties and highly agitated.
Police say he is now under the care of his family.
