The municipality has announced that Yi Peng (Loy Krathong) will be held on the 31st October and 1st November this year.
Unlike in previous years there will be no parade through town and an announcement will be made closer to the date as to the details of the event. One thing the municipality did say is that everyone attending will be asked to wear masks.
The situation will be reevaluated in early October should there be any changes.
There was also an announcement that the Thai woman who had come into contact with the virus carrying Malaysian has now tested negative for the virus for the second time since she ended her 14 day quarantine.
