CityNews – On the morning of December 19th, a body of a homeless man, aged around 35 – 40 was found floating in a reservoir outside Chaisathan Sub District Municipality.
The body is believed to have been in the water for at least three days when it was discovered.
Police didn’t find any assets and documents on the body to identify him; however, close to the body, the police found a sack containing clothes, which they believed to belong to the man.
According to the police, the man was believed to have been homeless and was sleeping under the bridge to escape from the cold. They speculate that he fell into the water in his sleep.
The body was taken for an autopsy and police are asking for his relatives to come forward to claim his body.
