Police arrested a homeless man for attacking a stranger who was talking on the phone on Chang Phuak Road, near Chang Phuak Residence.
According to police, a 45 year old man who was walking down the road had stopped to make a phone call when he was suddenly stabbed by a cutter knife in the ribs through his back.
A drunken 38 year old man was detailed and arrested. Police say that this man had been arrested for being drunk and disorderly in the area many times. The man is also an illegal alien from the Shan state with no legal papers to work in Thailand.
The injured man is in stable condition.
