Help Wat Palad build a groundwater bank

 | Fri 22 May 2020 16:32 ICT

Doi Suthep mountain has had a tough year so far, what with all the fires and all. It has also dried up, with hardly any water at any of the waterfalls.

Wat Palad which sits by Palad falls is a beautiful and historic temple on the way up the mountain. The abbot of this quiet jungle monastery is fearful that there will not be enough water this year due to drought and asks us all to come up this Sunday to help build a groundwater bank, to help preserve and manage water.

Anyone is welcome to join in this Sunday between 9am and noon. There will be a lunch, kindly donated, for all after the morning’s work.

What a great way to get out of the house and do something good.
