Last night saw a heavy thunderstorm that caused floods across Chiang Mai. The Doi Suthep-Pui Nation Park said that at 6am this morning, the cumulative rainfall at their weather station near Wat Phra That Doi Kham was 110mm.
Areas affected by flash floods last night and this morning include Sri Ping Muang Community, Ban Mae Hia Nai, Suthep, Ban Pong and Hang Dong. Damages to homes, cafes, restaurants and resorts have been reported.
