CityNews – At 5 p.m. on March 31st, Lampang prison guards discovered drugs smuggled into the prison by five prisoners returning from their morning hearing at Lampang Court. All five prisoners had inserted large amounts of drugs into their rectums.
Inmate Premchai Thongrak had 350 yaba pills and 4.85 grams of powder amphetamine hidden in his anus. Chuchart Siyanan was hiding 175 pills and 8.37 grams of powder; Sanit Somkert was hiding 390 pills; Pratchaya Tachalee 996 pills, and Chatchawan Khathaseeman was hiding 120 pills and 20.7 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
All five acted very suspicious, said prison guards, when they arrived at Lampang prison. Lampang police are now looking into where the prisoners got the drugs from.
