The Covid Response Centre has announced that five more people have reportedly died in the past 24 hours here in Chiang Mai from the virus with 339 more people having tested positive.
In total 96 people have died from the virus in the province since the start of the pandemic. Authorities say that they will be doing spot tests by knocking on doors of houses in 15 local communities over the coming days. There are also 30 teams of four people who are proactively visiting communities and markets offering vaccinations.
