A mini cooper collided with a traffic sign at an intersection on the Sankampaeng road yesterday.
The driver was unconscious when rescue workers arrived and quickly transported to hospital where he later died.
According to police there was heavy rains at the time and the driver was driving towards Chiang Mai when the car appear to have lost control and skidded into the sign and then further into a parked motorbike.
