CityNews – Drivers are being warned of road defects on Chiang Mai-Phrao Road.
A report was published today, July 24th, expressing concerns that there are substantial road defects on the Chiang Mai-Phrao Road from Thepanya Hospital to Maejo Police Station. Some of the defects are severe with pot holes that are around one foot deep. Those who ride motorcycles are warned to be cautious of the road surface.
The report also revealed that the a large number of truck drivers have avoided this route due to the poor road quality.
Local authorities have been contacted regarding the matter who confirmed that they carry out road inspection every year. The authorities stated that they will check with the responsible department the road and will proceed.
